Representing the interests of the Australian alcohol and other drugs sector, providing a national voice for people working to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs.

The Foundation conducts research on drug issues, implements drug education programs, develops resources for school students, teachers and parents, implements public awareness campaigns and provides information for a range of community and professional groups.

Provides a central point of access to quality Internet-based alcohol and drug information provided by prominent organizations in Australia and internationally.

Response to reduce the harm caused by drugs in a community. An important component of the ANCD’s work is to ensure that policies, strategies and directions in the alcohol and other drug field are consistent with the National Drug Strategic Framework.
